Faith & Enterprise

Called
to Build.

A community of believers who treat their work as worship and their enterprise as stewardship - building things that last.

Why we exist

This isn't a network or a course. It's a discipleship ecosystem for high-agency believers - where faith is built into the way we work.

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.

Proverbs 27:17
01 / Faith

Lived, not just discussed. Belief that shows up in the decisions and the work, not only in conversation.

02 / Business

Stewardship, not just profit. Enterprise held as something entrusted, to be managed faithfully and well.

03 / Community

Activation, not just connection. A place for accountability and action - people who help each other move.

How do we form people who carry kingdom principles into real economic influence?

The system

Four journeys,
one progression.

From what you believe, to what you do, to the impact you make, to the people you raise to do the same. Each journey is a part of one whole.

The Problem-Solving Journey.

Searching Out a Matter

Eight sessions that train believers in the marketplace to solve real problems with the mind of a craftsman and the heart of a disciple.

Elite problem-solving is not a bag of frameworks. It is a disciplined movement from a messy situation to a decision someone will actually act on - carried out under uncertainty, and held with humility about your own first answer.

Scripture already names this as royal work. When Solomon could have asked for wealth or long life, he asked instead for a discerning heart to distinguish between good and evil. The marketplace disciple searches out matters as an act of dominion and worship - not merely competence.

To define a problem well, to structure it, to find its root and carry a true answer to the people who must act, is to do in the boardroom what kings were made to do.

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search things out.

We start at Define. The loop runs all the way to Deliver - then begins again, because every solution surfaces the next problem.

The load-bearing insight

Five gifts,
one complete solver.

The five ministry gifts of Ephesians 4 are not only ways to build the church - they are the five faces of a complete problem-solver. Every hard problem needs all five, in sequence.

Apostle

the Architect

Frames the whole, builds the structure, sees the system. The scaffold on which everything else hangs.

Prophet

the Diagnostician

Discerns the real problem beneath the presented one, and tells the truth about it - even when it is unwelcome.

Teacher

the Synthesiser

Distils the complex into the clear and transferable. Says the deep thing simply, on one page.

Evangelist

the Communicator

Carries the recommendation so it changes minds and moves people to act.

Shepherd

the Implementer

Brings people through the change and finishes well, leaving no one behind.

Almost everyone defaults to one or two of these and is blind in the rest. A prophet who cannot communicate produces true insight that no one acts on. An evangelist with no diagnostician sells the wrong answer beautifully. An architect with no shepherd designs a change that never lands.

And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.

Ephesians 4:11-12 · ESV

Grow strong in your gift, and become competent in the other four.

The structure

Four parts,
eight sessions.

Ninety minutes each, built for the bivocational, evening reality of the people in the room. The journey moves through four movements: diagnose the real problem, analyse it properly, shape and carry the answer, then deliver and commission. Each session teaches one tool well and applies it to a live problem from the pod.

Foundations & Diagnosis

01

Searching Out a Matter

Now

Why the disciple is called to search out problems, the map of the whole cycle, your default facet, and the discipline of defining the real problem.

Prophet · Diagnostician Prov 25:2 · Neh 1-2
02

Building the Tree

Structuring a problem with issue and hypothesis trees; MECE; refusing to boil the ocean.

Apostle · Architect Luke 14:28 · Neh 3
Part 2

Analysis

03

Where to Dig

Prioritisation, the 80/20, impact-effort - stewardship of scarce hours and energy.

Apostle / Shepherd Exod 18 · Luke 10:42
04

Getting to Root

Root-cause analysis; symptom versus cause; the discipline of trying to disprove your own hypothesis.

Prophet · Diagnostician Judg 6:11 · 1 Thess 5:21
Part 3

Synthesis, Message & Judgment

05

So What? Carrying the Message

Synthesis versus summary; the governing thought on one page; answer-first storylining tuned to the audience.

Teacher + Evangelist Prov 25:11 · Acts 17
06

When the Data Runs Out

Judgment under uncertainty; reversible versus irreversible decisions; pre-mortems; knowing when you have enough to move.

Prophet / all Gen 41 · James 1:5
Part 4

Delivery & Commissioning

07

Making It Real

Implementation and change; the last mile; ownership; who owns this on Monday morning.

Shepherd · Implementer Neh 4-6 · Luke 6:48
08

The Living Case

Each member runs a real problem through the whole cycle and presents it; gifts are named and members are commissioned.

All five Matt 7:24 · James 1:22

Every session runs the same four beats.

90 minutes

The fixed shape lets members internalise a rhythm rather than a syllabus. Whatever the topic, they learn to open in worship, learn one thing, put it to work on something real, and leave sent.

10MIN Open

Welcome, a short worship framing, and prayer. Anchor the session in Scripture before any craft is taught.

30MIN Teach

One tool, taught properly - never a survey of five. A worked example the room can see.

35MIN Work

Apply the tool to a live problem from the room. This is where the learning sticks and the case bank grows.

15MIN Send

Personal application, paired prayer, and the thread for next week. Members leave with one thing to do.

The promise

What you walk away able to do.

  • 01Take a presented problem and define the real problem behind it, before spending a single hour on the wrong question.
  • 02Break a large, foggy problem into a clean structure and test where the leverage actually is.
  • 03Find a root cause instead of treating a symptom - and hold your own hypothesis loosely enough to be proven wrong.
  • 04Distil a whole diagnosis to one governing thought and carry it, answer-first, to the people who must act.
  • 05Decide well when the data runs out, and drive a solution across the last mile so it actually changes something.
  • 06Know your own gift, name it, and grow deliberately in the facets where you are weak.
